New Shelterhouse under construction

Midland’s Shelterhouse is building a new client services center, located at 2500 Waldo Avenue. The necessity for more space was a major factor for the change. Increasing from approximately 10,000 square feet and only 6 rooms to over 20,000 square feet with 15 private suites will help to accommodate the already overcrowded and increasing need for shelter and assistance. Location is another important factor, the facility being closer to local amenities.
To help meet this need, Shelterhouse has launched the Rebuild + Renew campaign. By contributing to this capital campaign, you can help rebuild lives and renew hope for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Midland and Gladwin counties. Shelterhouse has launched a $7.2 million capital campaign to fund the construction of a new, expanded client services center. Several giving levels make it easy for anyone to donate to this cause.
You can find out more about the new building in the Midland Daily News.
